For everyone signing up to take part in The Big Walk: as part of the sign-up process, you’ll need to agree to participate according to the following terms and conditions:
In consideration of my participation in The Big Walk for PMH, I hereby for myself, my heirs, and personal representative assume any and all risk which may be associated with the event.
I further waive, release, discharge and covenant not to sue the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation, their officers, members, sponsors, organisers or other representatives or successors and assigns, for the injuries or damages of any kind whatsoever as a result of taking part in the event and related activities.
I give permission for the free use of my name, voice, or picture in any broadcast, telecast, advertising, promotion, or other account of this event, including advertising and promotions for future Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation events.
Prizes will be awarded in the categories of highest individual fundraiser, highest team fundraiser and the largest team. The highest individual fundraiser will be the person who has raised the most money through their online fundraising page by 9:00am WST on Sunday 12 November, 2017 and is not part of a team. The highest team fundraiser will be the team who has raised the most money through their online fundraising page by 9:00am WST on Sunday 12 November 2017. The prize for the largest team will be awarded to the team captain of the team which has the most number of participants registered as of midnight on Thursday 9 November 2017. Prizes will be awarded on Sunday 12 November, 2017 at Burswood Park following the completion of the event.
