Online registrations for Big Walk for PMH are now closed.

It’s not too late to join us on the day. You can register at Burswood Park from 7:30am (see prices below). You get a free Big Walk for PMH t-shirt when you register (limited sizing available).

The 15km walk starts at 8:00am and the 6km walk starts at 9:00am.
Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of your starting time for welcome and warm up.

How much does it cost?

Sign up as an individual or with the whole family!

Our fees cover the cost of putting on the Big Walk event. All the money you raise will go directly towards supporting Princess Margaret Hospital.

What happens on the day?

Your start time will depend on which route you choose. Here’s what happening on the day:

  • 7.00am – on the day registration opens at Burswood Park
  • 7.45am – 15km warm up
  • 8.00am – The Big Walk 15km route begins
  • 8.45am – 6km warm up
  • 9.00am – The Big Walk 6km route begins
  • 9.30am – 1.30pm – the Stitches Bear Fair, sausage sizzle, ice cream and live entertainment on the main stage
  • 1.30pm – The Big Walk 2017 closes

The 15km route will take around 2.5-3 hours depending on how many activities you do, while the 6km route will take around 1-1.5 hours.

What you get

New for 2017, you’ll get a limited edition Big Walk t-shirt included in the price of your registration. We’ll also give you your very own Big Walk passport to keep track of all the activities you complete along the way.

What’s new

We’ve planned a host of fun new activities you can complete along both the 6km and 15km routes. Leap through a rainbow sea of bubbles, bust a move at the Jungle Body dance party, or swing those hips at the Happy Hula-Hooping station.

Transport and parking

There are a number of ways to get to the Big Walk for PMH.

Train – take the Armadale Thornlie line to Burswood Station.
Bus – there are a number of buses that stop on the Great Eastern Hwy, near Burswood Park.
For further information on public transport please visit the TransPerth website.

Parking – if you’d like to drive, there is plenty of free parking available at Burswood Park.
